Luke is a graduate of Gonzaga High School and then of Georgetown University, where he earned a degree in Theology. Luke then earned his law degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law, having completed a clerkship with the Office of the Public Defender for Contra Costa County. Following law school, Luke worked in the California Bay Area practicing criminal, juvenile and family law. He also worked as a general practice attorney in California where he handled personal injury, contract, and fiduciary liability suits. In 2007, he began his career in professional liability defense with a focus on dental malpractice and construction defect litigation, as well as administrative accusations and license revocation appeals on behalf of corporations, healthcare providers, real estate brokers and construction contractors.
Luke lives in Kensington, Maryland with his wife and two children and attends Holy Redeemer parish. Outside of work, Luke enjoys spending time with his family, participating in charities for local schools in Montgomery County, playing golf and following Orioles baseball and Hoyas basketball.
