Laura is a member of the Civil Litigation, Insurance Defense and Lead Paint Litigation practice groups, and works primarily in the areas of general civil litigation, insurance defense, personal injury and lead paint litigation.

Laura was born in New York City and raised in Bergen County, New Jersey. She graduated from Ridgewood High School, before attending the Honors Program at the Catholic University of America for two years, and then transferred to Syracuse University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English. After working for a few years at a non-profit organization, she enrolled at the Washington College of Law at American University as a night student and began clerking for McCarthy Wilson, LLP full-time.

After passing the Maryland Bar, Laura continued working as an attorney at McCarthy Wilson, LLP. She returned to the firm when her youngest child started kindergarten. Laura and her husband, Dave, live in Potomac, Maryland with their four children.
