
McCarthy Wilson LLP is pleased to announce that Partner Paul J. Havenstein has been elected President of the Bar Association for Montgomery County, Maryland, beginning his term in April 2026.
The Bar Association for Montgomery County is a nonprofit professional organization representing more than 1,300 attorneys and serving the legal community throughout Montgomery County, Maryland.
As President, Havenstein presides over meetings of the Association’s Board of Governors and helps guide the development and execution of its strategic plan and budget. His responsibilities also include oversight of continuing legal education and professional events and serving as a principal liaison between the Bar Association, area law firms, the judiciary, and the broader legal community.
Through this leadership role, Havenstein will help advance the Association’s commitment to professional excellence, collegiality, service to the community, and the fair administration of justice.
Havenstein’s election represents a significant professional distinction and reflects his leadership and involvement within the Montgomery County legal community. McCarthy Wilson congratulates Paul on this well-deserved honor and looks forward to his leadership of the Association.
